It all started, the two of them, in a little boat in Washinton, DC. This was the beginning of a friendship. This was the beginning of a growing affection. This was the beginning of a love that would bring a lifetime of so much more. These two became soul mates and their laughter and playfulness towards each other reveals a love that is unshakeable. This is Puja and Praveen.

It was written in the stars that I would be born a lady to a family of three girls. It was also written that I and my sisters would bloom into young women, just as a flower opens with the sun. Sisters share a bond unlike no other and I am drawn to these relationships. When I met the darling sisters, Selam and Tsigerada, the floral double exposure began to bloom. Liz and Alex recently moved to New Orleans to start their new life together in the Big Easy. They were both extremely easy-going and you could tell all they really care about is being together! We had such a lovely time bopping around the city while celebrating their engagement on this particularly beautiful, sunny day. Congratulations to them both!
This wedding, complete with clydesdale horses, flower & vegetable gardens, and vineyards was beautiful to say the least. Jackie and Tom got married at beltane ranch in the wine country of California. They were both very calm and enjoying their day together with family and friends. The horses definitely had us swooning all day long. Cheers to the newlyweds and continued happiness!

Babies may just be the most adorable subjects to photograph. Their tiny hands and feet make my heart melt every single time. It was a big day for Baby Hunter playing dress up while squeezing some nap time in between.
I was delighted when Aline from alines closet asked if I would pair up with her to photograph her line of clothing for her website and do an editorial style shoot! Aline's style is truly one-of-a-kind as she designs and hand makes each unique garment customizable for each client. A venue filled with artist installations is always bound to make for a beautiful wedding, and this one was nothing short of exactly that. Christy and Jesse share a both stunning and classic look. They were both so easy going and calm on their special day, which made for extra special photographs! Cheers to the newlyweds!

Pups always make engagement sessions a little more lively, especially when they double as assistants! Golden Gate Park can be distracting with all the squirrels and action going on, but these guys played the part and looked even cuter when they started panting from all the hard work. Congratulations to Carolina & Jon!
These two have each other's hearts and I can feel the love every time I see them. Brittany and Michael, two of my closest friends, got married three years ago before moving out to San Francisco. Brittany and I became even closer when I moved out to SF and had the delight of being able to share our love for the city together over tea, wine, and dinners. For their 3 year anniversary celebration, they wanted to have some photos to cherish. We had a delightful day filled with brunch, paddle boating, and lots of laughter of course! So much love to these adorable lovebirds!
With a seven mile hike, a few thirsty souls and some sore feet later, this was a unique engagement session for the lionhearted couple, Melissa and Drew. In the beginning of their relationship, these two were split by the bay so it was only fitting that they wanted their session to be on the new Bay Bridge. Little did we know that this pass across the new East Span was going to be our workout for the day, but it was worth every minute!

Giggles all day! Sarah was full of them and so were we. This adorable couple flew up from San Diego to get married at San Francisco's City Hall. This was a special day for the two of them becoming one and they couldn't have radiated more love. I even had the honor of being the witness as the newlyweds signed their marriage license. Lots of love to Sarah and John!

Trying to be stealthy is not always easy with camera in hand, but it was a fun challenge to capture some intimate moments without Cheryl noticing for this surprise photo shoot. For Cheryl's birthday, Steve wanted to surprise her with a photo of them embracing to get it printed to hang in their home. The love shared between them was beautiful to watch, and capture from a distance.
Nike's new store on Union Street in San Francisco opened back in May of this year and I had the pleasure of capturing some images for their first beach inspired event.
Nike Union Street is geared towards women and for the first Friday of each month they host an exclusive, invite only Girls Night in Workout. This beach, surf-inspired event featured Hurley's athlete Carissa Moore. Nike partnered up with Sweat Republic for a night of balance board workouts, surf inspired yoga, and intensive cardio work. Afterward, the girls got to enjoy a nice post workout reception which included a food and summer drink bar as well as a beach towel customization station.
My other sister, Aimee, also came for a first-time visit to San Francisco. Nicknaming her Poison Ivy, we loved this shoot in front of a gorgeous ivy covered wall in Pacific Heights. Aimee is a talented textile designer and artist who lives in Brooklyn, New York. She hand dyed and printed the headband featured below! You can check out more of her lovely work here:
My beautiful sister came to visit, so of course we had to take some portraits! We visited some California wineries for her first time and ate at too many delicious restaurants in Sonoma. The pureness and unity between these two love birds was undeniably heartfelt on their wedding day. Devon and Chris both have harmonious souls and it is certain that they were made for each other. We had such a lovely time at this intimate ceremony surrounded by flowers, greenery, and a sense of peace. Congratulations Devon and Chris!

Family portraits are one of my favorite sessions because I always enjoy watching the love and dynamics between each unique familial bond. Melia and Jazmin were the sweetest little darlings. Melia was so gentle with her little sister as she read to her and gave her the flowers she picked. And Jasmine was content the entire time enjoying every second of sunshine. It doesn't get much cuter than this!
We had such a fun time with this engagement in the thick fog. The Marin Headlands is one of the most unique areas of the Golden Gate National Recreation area. The views from above in the high hills and mountains are breathtaking, especially when you have two beautiful people to capture! We enjoyed some warm weather over the fourth of July in Bay St. Louis, MS. It was a first time experience at their annual Crab Fest with live music, rides, and crab in just about every way imaginable. This year was one for the books.
